A man in his 40s accused of murdering his de-facto wife following an argument at their Nanuku home in Vatuwaqa last Sunday has been remanded in custody.
Siva Vunakece appeared in a magistrates court today in Suva, where he has been remanded until his next hearing in a high court in Suva on 10 November.
He has been charged with one count of murder over the death of Laite who police said suffered serious injuries resulting in her death.
