Vodafone Launches Vodafone Play

Vodafone today launched their “Vodafone Play” service which will allow users to access television programs, shows, movies and in local content.

Launching the product in Suva today, Vodafone CEO Elenoa Biukoto said the service will give customers a wide range of choice in entertainment and news.

“Today marks the start of our journey to become a quad player in telecommunications. This means we are combining the triple play services of broadband Internet access, television or content, and telephone with wireless service provisions.”

“In addition, with the advancement of 5G technology, we will be able to deliver even more immersive streaming experience with ultra-fast speeds to better meet the evolving needs of our customers.”

Included in their app will be hallmark names in the film industry.

“The great thing about Vodafone Play is that it offers over 50,000 hours of Video on Demand content, including blockbuster English and Hindi movies, originals, and kid-friendly content from our partners and globally renowned content providers: Warner Bros, Sony Liv, Shemaroo Entertainment and; All3 Media International.”
