FMF Suva rugby’s product Iosefo Namoce has signed with the Fijian Drua for two years.
Namoce who has been an integral part of the Suva rugby side in the Skipper Cup competition and the Farebrother Challenge for the past few years described the signing as an opportunity to help the Fiji based Super Rugby franchise.
“I am feeling a mix of excitement, pressure and nerves but ready to contribute and make a positive impact to the Club next season.”
This season the Macuata lad played for Gungahlin Eagles 1st grade team in the John I Dent Cup in Canberra, Australia.
General Manager Rugby at Fijian Drua described the former Queen Victoria School student said they were looking forward to having the centre at the Club 2026.
“Our club is very excited about Iosefo joining the Fijian Drua. He is a player that has attributes that align to the Drua playing style and identity.”
“Iosefo’s journey hasn’t always been straight forward, however; I am confident that our rugby environment can fast track him into a quality Super Rugby Pacific player.”
