Ravutaumada Showing Good Progress After Shoulder Surgery

Selestino Ravutaumada is recovering well after undergoing surgery to his shoulder in Australia.

Flying Fijians Head Coach Mick Byrne said that the winger has had his shoulder injury tended to well and is recovering.

“Stino had surgery last Monday, it was quite a nasty injury, alot of previous damage in there that got repaired.”

Byrne said that Ravutaumada remains in Australia until he is ready to return to Fiji.

“He’s on a rehab program for couple of weeks which means he has to stay close to the surgeon, get his surgery dressed. He’s in good spirits but obviously has been disappointing or him.”

The Fiji Water Flying Fijians take on USA on Saturday at 7.05pm in their third round of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup.
