Selestino Ravutaumada thanked his family in particular his mother, his daughter and partner for their support while he was on the recovery journey after sustaining injuries that required surgery.
The Taveuni man said it was good to be back in the squad and out on the field for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua on the weekend.
“I wouldn’t have been able to do this and help with the win so I acknowledge my partner, my daughter and especially my mother. They’ve stood by me and supported me throughout the time I was in rehab.”
“The staff at the Fijian Drua have also been amazing helping me to recover fully.”
Ravutaumada made a return to Super Rugby after being out for close to 6 months which also saw the winger miss out on the November 2024 Flying Fijians tour of the Northern Hemisphere countries.
