Mai TV has reached out to FICAC for a statement or explanation on the search warrant and seizure of mobile phone belonging to Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica.
As of 9 am today no statement has been forthcoming.
There have been queries from the public, the business community and even the diplomatic corp trying to find out what has happened.
Some concerns have been expressed from some quarters, including commercial parties, about the potential handling of sensitive and confidential correspondence and information in the DPM’s phone.
FICAC served a search warrant and seized the Deputy PM’s phone at his office yesterday.
