The Fiji Airways National 7s team knows that teams playing at the McDonald’s Coral Coast tournament beginning today at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka will be looking to make their mark against the side.
And Jeremaia Matana said they have prepared well for the 3 day tournament.
“Coach Osea has been emphasising to us the importance of working together. This tournament is important because everyone will be vying for selection into the squad for the Perth 7s.”
“Everyone is focused on giving our best at the tournament because we will be playing against very strong sides at Lawaqa Park.”
Fiji are in Pool A with Tuva Rugby, NZ 7s (2) and Brothers. Their first game at the tournament will be against Brothers.
