A man in his late 30s accused for his involvement in an incident in which two youths were forced to perform sexual acts as their punishment for damaging his personal belongings has been remanded in police custody.
The unnamed man appeared yesterday before a magistrates court in Lautoka where he also applied for bail.
He is scheduled to reappear in court on Friday.
The man has been charged with two counts of wrongful confinement, two counts of sexual assault and one count of trafficking obscene publication. Police believe others may be involved, investigation into which continues.
