Fiji’s Land Transport Authority Board has appointed Irimaia Rokosawa to the position of Chief Executive Officer in an acting capacity.
He will lead the organisation until a permanent appointment to the role is made, LTA Board Chairman James Sowane said in a statement.
“Rokosawa has demonstrated throughout his career with the LTA, his ability to work successfully in executive leadership roles and the Board is confident of his extensive experience to lead the Authority in the interim.”
Rokosawa has been with LTA since 2017 when he joined as General Manager Finance and Administration. He was promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2020.
Rokosawa started in the acting CEO role this week, almost four months since the exit of Samuel Simpson.
