Labasa businesses help with quarantine facility

The Labasa Chamber of Commerce has donated 17 bags of rice for the quarantine facility at Labasa College.

In anticipation of the first lot of passengers who will be returning from Viti Levu to Vanua Levu, Provincial Administrator Macuata Kalivati Rabuka said the donation would definitely help with the meals of those coming into the facility.

Rabuka said there would be two quarantine facilities in Macuata.

“Those who’ve come from the red zones in Viti Levu will be housed at Malau and those coming from other places in Viti Levu will go to Labasa College. All meals will be cooked at Labasa College and then delivered to Malau for those who will be there. That’s why we are very grateful for the donation given by the Chamber of Commerce here in Labasa.”
