Apart from Ropate Rere, the national 7s team including the extended squad members were at training today at the HPU gym in Suva and work has begun towards fine tuning the team for the Hong Kong 7s.

Head Coach Osea Kolinisau says Rere will be joining camp soon.

“He was sorting some stuff out and we will see him soon.”

At training today, Kolinisau was happy with the turnout and the work put in so far.

“Everyone of them knows what’s expected of them. No one is new to this routine. We have our work cut out for us and the boys know the level of fitness they need to attain.”

“We don’t have a lot of time. Our focus now is on getting the team ready for Hong Kong.”

On hand to help Kolinisau was veteran 7s player Sireli Bobo.
