Despite the hard season so far, Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain against the Queensland Reds Mesake Doge has asked fans not to give up on the team.
Doge led the squad in their Captain’s run this afternoon at the HFC Bank Stadium and lamented that the journey continues as they prepare for the final few games left in the season.
“It doesn’t end here. It’s been disappointing to not get the win, but it has also been a huge learning curve for us as individuals and as a team.”
“I know alot of people have been disappointed and we urge you to please don’t stop the support, the journey continues, the Drua will continue to sail.”
Doge is confident of a good outing against the Reds calling the lineup a good one with Vuate Karawalevu at centre, Kemu Valetini at the number 10 position and Isaiah Armstrong – Ravula moved to fullback.
The game kicks off at 2.05pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva and will be followed by the Vodafone Fijiana XV and Australian Wallaroos match which is set to start at 5.00pm.
