Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have locked in Drua Player of the Year Isoa Nasilasila re-signing for the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.
The announcement comes fresh off the back of a standout 2025 campaign for the 28-year-old.
Nasilasila has been a pillar of strength in the Fijian Drua forward pack since the team’s Super Rugby debut in 2022, racking up 50 appearances — a milestone achieved by only one other player in the Club’s short history.
Speaking after signing the contract extension, the Viseisei, Vuda said that he was excited to continue the journey with the Drua.
“I’m very excited to extend another year with the Drua,” Nasilasila said. “I started my journey with them and with the team and management that are there heading into 2026, it looks very promising and I can’t wait to see what will unfold.”
Nasilasila has also earned 21 caps for the Flying Fijians since making his Test debut in 2021. He was instrumental in Fiji’s Rugby World Cup campaign in 2023.
Fijian Drua General Manager of Rugby, Baden Stephenson, hailed the re-signing of Nasilasila as a major boost for the squad.
“The Club is thrilled to re-sign Isoa for next year,” Stephenson said. “He sets high standards, consistent behaviours, works hard and cares deeply about the Club. Isoa’s durability and professionalism are trademarks that he takes very seriously.”
