Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain Tevita Ikanivere has applauded the inclusion of Isoa Tuwai in the side that is to take on the Brumbies at the HFC Bank national stadium in Suva tomorrow.
Speaking after the Captain’s run in Suva today, Ikanivere said Tuwai’s call up was well deserved as the young player had been putting in the hard yards over the two years.
“Congratulations to Isoa, he really deserves this and I know that tomorrow he will play his best game.”
Tuwai has been named on the bench, and debuts, alongside Ponipate Loganimasi and former Waratah’s player and Marist Brothers High School student Vuate Karawalevu.
Tuwai is one of the players on the home side who has come through local club rugby competitions including the Skipper Cup.
The match kicks off at 3.30pm and gates will be open from 1.30pm.
