Customers are urged to store water immediately as both the Savura and Waimanu Raw Water Pump Stations are currently offline due to severe flooding caused by heavy rains.
Safety measures have led to the shutdown of electricity-operated water pumps, Water Authority said in a statement.
With the Raw Water Pumping Stations offline, this will reduce the raw water inflow into the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant which impacts production levels and will later impact service reservoir levels.
