Fijiana 7s Target Improved Outing in LA

Decision-making in times of duress was one of the let-downs of the Fijiana 7s team at the Vancouver tournament last weekend.

Coach Saiasi Fuli says they have worked on that during the week’s prep for the L.A 7s.

“We have worked through the issues and the girls are ready because we admit that our decision-making in times of duress was lacking.”

Fuli says on individual play the girls did well and as a team.

“We had Maria, and Qoro and Heleina step up and given Heleina’s return from injury and rehab we expect her to have a good outing this weekend here in LA.”

The team plays Brazil, South and New Zealand in the pool games.

Raijeli Daveua leads the women out after Reapi Ulunisau got injured during the tournament and has since returned to Fiji.
