Renowned national strength and conditioning coach who was behind two of Fiji’s Olympic Golds in the 7s game, Nacanieli Cawanibuka was farewelled on the weekend from the Fijian Drua.
In farewelling Cawanibuka, Head Coach Glen Jackson said the Super Rugby side has gained alot and grown with the nurturing of Cawanibuka.
“Master Naca’s contribution has shaped these players and the Club as a whole. He has worked so hard with the boys, committed solely on making them ready.”
Cawanibuka was acknowledged and farewelled at the 2025 Fijian Drua awards presentation night held at the Sofitel Resort & Spa on Denarau Island in Nadi.
It is understood that Cawanibuka is moving back to the Fiji Rugby Union’s High Performance Unit in Suva.
