The Fijian Government has officially confirmed the public holiday dates for the year 2025.
The public holidays for 2025 remain consistent with those observed in 2024.
The approved public holidays for 2025 are as follows:
– New Year’s Day: Wednesday, 1 January
– Good Friday: Friday, 18 April
– Easter Saturday: Saturday, 19 April
– Easter Monday: Monday, 21 April
– Girmit Day: Monday, 12 May
– Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna Day: Friday, 30 May
– Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday: Monday, 8 September
– Fiji Day: Friday, 10 October
– Diwali: Tuesday, 21 October
– Christmas Day: Thursday, 25 December
– Boxing Day: Friday, 26 December
The publication of these dates in the gazette will formalise the schedule.
