Preparations are well underway for the finals of the BIC Fiji FACT soccer tournament to be held at the HFC Bank stadium in Suva on Saturday and Sunday.
Fiji Football Association General Manager Operations Anushil Kumar said the four teams going into the semi finals of Saturday were amongst the best.
“We have Labasa taking Lautoka meeting in the first semi final and then hosts Suva take on neighbours Rewa.”
Kumar said last weekend’s pool games proved to be tough with some finding it hard to score goals.
“That just goes to show the level of competition and how stiff the competition was. Now we head into the finals of course the display of talents will be something to look out for.”
Kumar also confirmed that while the BiC Fiji FACT was underway, preparations were also happening for the Extra Supermarket Battle of the Giants soccer tournament to be held in Labasa and the IDC in October.
The Labasa vs Lautoka game will kick off at 2pm while Suva and Rewa will kick off at 4.30pm.
