This year’s annual secondary schools athletics meet better known as the Coca Cola games or Fiji Finals has been confirmed to take place from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th April at the HFC Bank National Stadium in Suva.
Permanent Secretary for Education Meli Nacuva said the Ministry has given their approval for the games to take place on the dates put forward by the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Committee.
Earlier, concerns had been raised around the Games being held on the same dates as previous years as this year, the Fijian Drua versus Reds game is scheduled for that day, May 3.
Schools around the country have been holding inter-house athletics meets preparing for their zonal competition before they progress to the national finals in April.
