Fiji’s Chief Registrar Tomasi Bainivalu admitted guilt to a single charge of driving under the influence of alcohol in a closed session at Suva’s Magistrate Court.
The incident reportedly occurred in June when Bainivalu was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol on Brown Street in Suva.
Sentencing has been scheduled for October 11.
