You must learn how to serve the people before you can truly lead, says Fiji’s President elect Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.
Speaking to Mai TV News in Labasa Ratu Wiliame said people will believe those who live out their promises.
“People want to see action because promises mean nothing if you don’t do what you preach.”
Ratu Wiliame said his appointment as Fiji’s next President is a humbling one.
“To think that God would appoint me is indeed a privilege and honor and I can only hope and pray that in my tenure God will use me to bless and guide every Fijian well.”
Since the announcement of his appointment, his family and the vanua o Caumatalevu have been feasting and celebrating Ratu Wiliame’s success.
Ratu Williame was elected President on 22 October.
