Investing in a biogas system has been one of the best things that Losevati Ragate has made.
She no longer has to wake up early to get firewood nor does she have to endure inhaling smoke as she prepares the family meals.
Losevati is the first customer to have a 2.0 home biogas installed in Macuata after she purchased it through Courts Fiji Ltd in Labasa.
Project consultant at Pacific Grow Fred Fuakilau said they were happy that the system was made a huge difference in their customers’ lives.
“This is what it’s all about. Making a difference for families, protecting our environment and recycling natural waste for better use,” Fuakilau said.
The system comes with a 1-burner gas cook stove and it allows up to 3 hours of cooking per day.
The system is available at all Courts Fiji Ltd outlets Fiji-wide.
