Weather forecast prompts fever clinic relocation

Nine fever clinics in the Central and Eastern divisions have been moved to different locations in anticipation of inclement weather brought about by the approaching severe Tropical Cyclone Harold.

The country will start feeling the impacts of TC Harold from tomorrow. Relocated are the:

  • Lami Town Clinic (From Tikaram Park to Parish Hall)
  • Nakasai HC (From Nakasi HC Carpark) to Nakasi Health Centre
  • Wainibokasi ( From Wainibokasi H/C Park to Wainibokasi Hospital)
  • Valelevu (From Valelevu Tennis Court to Ministry of Weather building)
  • Nausori (From Nausori old market to Quarter 2 of Nausori Heath Centre)
  • Navua (Outside of hospital (tent) to Navua Hospital
  • Naitasiri (Frm Vunidawa Hospital  (tent) to Vunidawa Hospital
  • Naiasiri (Nakorosule Health Centre outside(tent) to Nakorosule Health Centre)
  • Tent behind bus stop at junction going to hsospital now to Korovou Hospital.

Meanwhile, Kamikamica Health Centre and Saint Thomas High School fever clinics in Lautoka are closed till further notice. Opening hours for other fever clinic may change depending on the weather.

 All other fever clinics will continue to operate from their current locations.
