Scoring the match-saving try was the icing on the cake for young Sikeli Rabitu in the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s match against the Queensland Reds on the weekend.
Trailing towards the 80 minute mark on Saturday, Rabitu seized the opportunity at the Fijian Drua scoreline to seal the win for the home side taking the match 36 – 33.
Rabitu acknowleddged the support of fans and said the team were grateful for the support from the start of the season to date.
“We couldn’t have done it without your support and even though we have not won some games, you all have continued supporting us and we want to say thank you.”
Fijian Drua tries were to Taniela Rakuro, Mesake Doge, Etonia Waqa, Mesake Vocevoce, Isoa Tuwai and Sikeli Rabitu.
