A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a grab and run incident that took place in Nasinu yesterday.
The suspect is accused of stealing a mobile phone from a victim who was waiting at a bus shelter.
The alleged theft, which occurred in broad daylight, was captured on video and later circulated on social media, leading to the man’s identification and subsequent arrest.
The suspect is also under investigation for a separate robbery that occurred in Kinoya the day before.
The man remains in custody as police continue their investigations into both cases.
