In its continuous support for the sport of volleyball, the Hot Bread Kitchen have donated over $9,000 to the Fiji Volleyball Federation as they prepare for the Easter Volleyball Championship this weekend.
Upashna Ben, General Manager Business Development said they were happy to once again give towards the development of the sport and the talent enhancemet of those already playing the sport at club and regional level.
“The Hot Bread Kitchen is doing this in honor and memory of our founder Ms Mere Samisoni who began this journey. She saw the benefits of such a sponsorship, and it is only right that we see it through.”
Kemueli Naiqama, President of the Fiji Volleyball Federation said they were grateful for the continued support of the Hot Bread Kitchen.
“This will go a long way in helping us with the organizing and executing of the tournament this weekend. Hot Bread has always been one of our biggest supporters and we are very grateful and thankful to them for this timely donation.”
A total of 54 teams are participating in the tournament with 27 womens teams and 27 men’s team.
“It will be an exciting two days of volleyball and the best in the sport in Fiji will be there to show case their talent as we also prepare for the Pacific Mini Games to be held in Palau in June.”
The HBK Easter Volleyball Championship will be held from Friday 18th April to Saturday 19th April at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
