Heritage Fiji to develop international playing grounds for Fiji FA Academy in Labasa

Heritage Fiji Limited have been awarded the project to develop the Fiji FA’s Labasa Academy playing grounds.

In making the announcement, Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel said the national body wanted the best done for the football facility in the North.

“This is a significant step forward for football development in the North. With the completion of these grounds, we aim to provide better training and playing facilities for our players. We thank FIFA for their continuous support through the FIFA Forward program, which enables us to improve our football infrastructure across the country.”

Costing $2.3 million it will contain two high quality football grounds which has been funded through the FIFA Forward Program.

“This initiative aims to enhance football infrastructure in the Northern Division and provide better facilities for player development.”

Fiji FA’s Project Engineer and Consultant Shivas Singh will oversee the the project implementation to ensure it meets the required standards.

The Labasa Academy Ground Development Project is expected to commence in August, with a focus on delivering top-quality facilities that will benefit players, coaches, and football enthusiasts in the region.
