Nadi International Airport has fully restored electricity supply and all scheduled departures have left.
The airport was without power from 4.30am to 7am today.
A statement from the company said maintenance workers and electricians were able to restore full power supply and a full report of what transpired will be released shortly.
CEO Mesake Nawari said they will ensure this doesn’t happen again.
“We sincerely appreciate the understanding and patience rendered by our guests during the course of the outage and we thank you for your cooperation and apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
“Our electricians have been deployed on site working on the fault and although power has been restored and operations are back to normal, our team have got their fingers on the pulse to determine the cause of the fault,” Nawari said.
