The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) stands ready to help Samoa prepare for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) meeting to be held on the island nation in October this year.
PIFS Secretary General Henry Puna shared this while speaking to the media at their monthly press briefing in Suva recently.
Puna said being their member state, they would assist Samoa if it was needed.
“This is a huge event and the first to be held in the Pacific so we are here for our member states if Samoa requires it, we will assist them in their preparation for CHOGM.”
CHOGM will be held in Apia, Samoa in October this year.
