Lautoka Zone: Jasper’s anchors of steel

Jasper Williams High School’s relay teams displayed exceptional skill and speed to claim every grade in the 4x100m of the Lautoka Yasawa Zone which ends this hour.

The girls from Delainamoli displayed crisp starts, were seamless in their baton exchanges and finished strong with lots of vigour to spare.

Led by Adi Vika Bavui, the zone’s blue ribbon winner, Jasper’s powerful anchors caught up in the last lap to deny their leading Natabua High School competition the gold.

Jasper now extends their lead to 33 gold medals to Natabua’s 9.

Jasper Williams High School were national champions at the #CocaColaGames between 2013-2016 after ending Adi Cakobau School’s 12 year reign. They came third to ACS and St. Joseph’s Secondary School in 2019.
