FCCC determines June Fuel & LPG Prices

Starting from midnight tonight, new fuel prices as a result of various factors, including international refined fuel prices, international freight rates, and currency exchange rates, come into effect.

Prices of motor spirit, and premix will increase, while kerosene prices drop, so too diesel and gas cylinders, according to prices released by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission today.

Motor spirit and premix prices will increase by $0.06 per unit and $0.04 per unit selling at $2.80 and $2.62 respectively.

Kerosene, and diesel prices decrease by $0.01 per unit and $0.05 per unit, to $1.91 and $2.36 respectively. A 4.5kg gas cylinder will fetch for $14.39 down from $14.47. Similarly, a 12kg cylinder can be bought for $38.37, $0.22 cents cheaper.

Bulk gas and autogas prices have been adjusted too and will sell for $2.96 and $1.97 a unit respectively.
