Fiji Elections 2022: PA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka is Fiji new PM

People's Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka is Fiji's new prime minister, ending FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama's 16-year reign as the country's head of government. Mr Rabuka won 28 votes to 27, ousting FijiFirst nominee Mr Bainimarama who was elected Leader of Opposition in the August House today, almost a week since the country's 2022 General Election results were released.
