FEO releases handbook for polling agents

SOE updates political parties on 2022 General Elections prep

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem updated political parties on preparations ahead of the 2022 elections in a virtual meeting, its first with registered parties ahead of the 2022 General Election. In attendance were representatives from National Federation Party, FijiFirst, SODELPA, Unity Fiji, and The People’s Alliance who were also provided e-copies of the provisional voter list for inspection and verification. Community leaders urged to start preparing for cyclone season

Kerosene price unchanged, as other fuel products’ costs drop

The price of kerosene will remain the same while costings for other fuel products will decrease as opposed to LPG products, prices for which will increase, starting tomorrow, Friday 1 October. COVID-19 Fiji: 81 new cases and 12 deaths

Fiji recorded 81 new coronavirus infections and 12 deaths including nine positive patients who died with COVID-19. With 57 patients having recovered during the period, active cases stand at 12,881 while the number of COVID positive patients who have died from the virus has increased to 1095 since March 2020 or 1093 since the outbreak in April this year.
