Zero COVID-19 cases, but curfew remains in place: Bainimarama

Fiji’s Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says restrictions will remain in place including the curfew despite the recovery of the country's remaining COVID-19 patients. Bainimarama confirmed all three remaining patients in isolation tested negative for the virus and will be released to their home, but said measures will remain to avoid any risk of a second wave. School break extended another two weeks: Education

Fiji’s Ministry of Education has extended school closure, with the anticipated school reopening date now set for Tuesday, June 30. The statement comes in the wake of an update by the country's Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama via tweet this morning that Fiji had cleared the last of its remaining active COVID-19 cases. Officer recovers from COVID-19: Fiji Police
