1 COVID-19 recovery, 6 remain in isolation

One of Fiji’s recent active COVID-19 border quarantine case has recovered leaving six active cases still admitted at the Lautoka Hospital isolation unit.

The latest update brings to 55 the number of people who have recovered from the virus.

At this stage, 660 overseas arrivals are observing their 14-day mandatory quarantine at designated facilities, but there has not been any new case since the last update on Wednesday, 3 March.

Fiji’s Ministry of Health said it has carried out 31,695 lab tests, equating to 225 tests daily per day over the last seven days and a weekly average of 1162 tests per week over the last two weeks.
